visuEats

I worked as a Community Officer Intern for visuEats where I managed the visuEats Instagram account. visuEats is a start-up company that allows customers to pick up, reserve, and deliver primarily focusing on the Jamaican market. The overall goal for visuEats is brand awareness and increase restaurant sign-ups. My duties briefly include: planning, designing, and executing marketing campaigns for visuEats’ social media platforms and website, creating a content calendar to stay on track, and maintaining visuEats’ brand voice across all platforms.

Results: From March 1st to April 30th, the visuEats Instagram account reached over 8420 accounts which is an increase of 133% from previous months. Additionally, the team led to a 97.8% in engagement. During the short three months, visuEats’ brand awareness has improved, which is an important goal that was accomplished.

I gained the perspective of B2B marketing and targeting an international market (Caribbean) which honed my organizational and communication skills. I spearheaded a content calendar spanning 2 1/2 months and managed to keep a consistent posting schedule.
